NBK was newly reformed as the leading foundation to support a new business and to revitalize Kansai Region and Japan toward 21st century.

The NBK was founded in 1987 by the member of financial groups in Kansai who has in mind to create a new business. This started Non-Profit organization called NBF (New Business Forum) for establishing a strong economical foundation in Kansai region. Then we have tackled activity with positive mind that our activity to create new business in Kansai is also aiming to contribute to the prosperity of our economic in Japan toward 21st century.

In 1990, "Kansai New Business Conference(NBK)" was reformed as non-profit organization under guidance of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (the present Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and many other organizations, and NBK supported new business foundation as well as to enlighten a new business activity as the major function.

It has passed 17 years after the foundation of NBK, and it has changed a lots of economical background after foundation. Therefore, NBK, as the leading organization, need to reform its direction and activity in order to support our member more effectively and to revitalize our local economical status in accordance with a current economical condition, and we did reform our activities newly respectively.

As newly formed Kansai New Business Conference, our major direction has been changed to self-participation from the enlightenment. With this change, we shall create more new business (to find a new business seed) with our member by promoting interchange activities among members and its R&D, and we will support our member in order to make a new seed growing to a new business. Further, NBK as the leading organization in Kansai composed of 7 prefectures would exert every effort in our activities in order to create new business.

NBK as the Economic Association, we have long history related to develop a new business. Therefore, we shall continue our activities including appealing an importance of new business, and further NBK itself will make every effort to find a new business (new seeds) and to train our members.
